Hey -people are asking when to come see PARIS gigging live. PARIS are doing a full night at Bishop's Waltham Folk Club, in the Social Club on Tuesday night start 8.00 pm. Contact 01489 891110. Seating is limited so please arrive early to make sure you are seated. The gig lasts for the whole evening so bring pillows and and alarm clock. It includes Behind Enemy Lines, The Phoenix, Forever and one of Sue's songs Glastonbury Tor which she will perform solo without a safety net -- drum roll please!!!
Sorry I haven't had time to write before but I've had my hands full trying to pull the girls into shape for this gig. Just when I think I've got a handle on it - Rachel shoots off at a tangent with some crazy idea, or Lynne turns up with some zany outfit to wear -- well honestly - white frilly blouses? and in winter? Whatever next? Sue certainly put a stop to that one thank heavens. I am having big problems with Sue and her strap though and am at my wits end. She does like to sit down and play guitar instead of standing up, which, lets face it ain't that professional. Every time I hassle her about this she conveniently forgets her guitar strap so she has to sit down. She thinks I don't know what she's up to but guess what -- she'll have to get up a lot earlier in the morning to get one over on me - after all - I am a cock!!!
Will write more soon to let you know what we will be up to this year. We have some interesting plans afoot which include overseas gigs and recording and also something hush hush is in sight. The website is in a hiatus until I've got time to redesign lyrics page which Lynne has made a bit of a hash of -- sometimes I feel like I'm surrounded by idiots - am I the only one with any sense round here or wot?
bye for now
